Judgment on America

America, just like Israel has been blessed by the Lord and was founded on Christian principles.   But, we have turned from Him to do what seems right in our own eyes. We have turned to idols. We have made Hollywood our idols, we have made material gain our idols, we have made self our idol. We now call evil good and promote homosexuality as an alternate lifestyle. We sacrifice our unborn children on the altar of convenience. We “tolerate” the worship of false gods and coddle to religions that worship false gods. We sent money as a nation to rebuild Mosques while the Church as a body sleeps. We have turned from the Lord and are arrogant. We have removed prayer from our schools and Bibles are now forbidden. We have twisted our own first amendment of the Constitution so that people now believe that we cannot have religion in government rather than keeping the government out of religion.

But the Lord is not about religion, He is about relationship. The founders just used the term religion. It will do no good to turn to “religion” as religion is man’s way of trying to be righteous enough to reach God. God is about relationship, coming to earth to take the place of sinful people, to die with their sins, to raise without them and to pardon every person who will place their faith in Yeshua (Jesus) the Christ.

What do we, as Christians, need to do? 2 Chronicles 7:14 says it best: “if my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” (ESV)

“If MY people…” It will take those who profess to be followers of Jesus Christ turning from their lukewarm complacency and apathy and humbling themselves before their Lord, seeking His will, and obeying Him.

But that is not all…For anyone who is awake and sees the danger of His judgment coming, we are called to be a “Watchman on the wall”. Ezekiel 33:6 (ESV), “But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet, so that the people are not warned, and the sword comes and takes any one of them, that person is taken away in his iniquity, but his blood I will require at the watchman’s hand.”

We must warn people. We will all stand before Christ and give an account for what we did the the information, tools, gifts, and talents that He gave us.

Repent now. Go now and tell people. Time is running out.

Critical Faith

In these last days before the return of our Lord Jesus Christ, we must be walking by faith or we most certainly will fall.  I am not saying if you are born again that you will lose salvation because you won’t.  But if we are not exercising our faith, then as God’s Word states, “Faith without works is dead.” (James 2:26)
Three to four years ago I had impressed in my spirit 1 Corinthians 10:12, “Therefore let him who thinks he stands take heed that he does not fall.”
The times in which we are now living are not going to get easier. If we are not standing firm in our faith, knowing the Word of God and exercising what we know, then when disasters or very severe trials come we will be like a house built on the sand.  As Jesus said, “Everyone who hears these words of Mine and does not act on them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand.” (Matthew 7:26, NASB)

I know many people who profess Christ, but are terribly anxious from one day to the next. Faith is not anxious. Faith believes, trusts, and relies on the Lord and the truth of His Word. If we cannot stand when times are not severe but only daily trials, how do we think we will stand when VERY difficult times come?

Jesus is returning soon for His Bride, according to the signs we have read in the scriptures and now see coming to pass,  but before He comes we may face things we have never before had to face as Christians.  I pray you will stay in His Word, believe what you read, and act upon it every day.
